India Clinch First T20I Against England with Seven-Wicket Win


India secured a commanding seven-wicket victory over England in the first T20I of their five-match series at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Chasing 133, opener Abhishek Sharma smashed 79 off 34 balls, sealing the win in just 12.5 overs. Jos Buttler top-scored for England with 68, but their batting faltered. Varun Chakravarthy claimed three wickets, while Arshdeep Singh, Hardik Pandya, and Axar Patel took two each. India, the reigning T20 champions, continue their winning streak since August 2023.
