Carolina Hurricanes Land Mikko Rantanen and Taylor Hall in Blockbuster Deal

The Carolina Hurricanes pulled off a significant trade, acquiring Mikko Rantanen from the Colorado Avalanche and Taylor Hall from the Chicago Blackhawks in a three-team deal. Carolina sent Martin Necas, Jack Drury, and draft picks to Colorado. Chicago retained part of Rantanen’s salary and received a third-round draft pick.

The move is expected to strengthen Carolina’s playoff chances as they make a push for the Stanley Cup.
